| Welcome to a collection of my original paintings. I am a self-taught, freelance artist living on the gulfcoast of Florida who creates spiritual, visionary and eclectic fine art paintings for private collectors to purchase. I was born an artist, and began drawing at the age of four. As a teenager, I learned to paint with oils and then acrylics. Acrylics were my favorite medium, and I created very realistic paintings with them for over 20 years. I began to yearn to express my heart more freely. And so, I decided to teach myself to paint with watercolors in an impressionistic style. The angel art that you see here is the result of that work, which is more of a meditation. When I sit down to paint, I close my eyes and breathe deeply. When I open my eyes, I select a color and begin to cover the paper. I have no sketch, and nothing planned. I cover the paper, and allow the painting to develop itself.... and it always does. Interestingly, the finished painting always seems to be appropriate to what is going on in life at the time. I have great fun creating the angel paintings. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
